  • Méribel ESF ski school was created in 1945 by locals from the valley. The ESF ski school in Méribel has since become one of the biggest ski and snowboard schools in France with over 450 instructors.
  • Back in the 1980's the ESF ski school in Méribel recognised the need for a specialised section for international (mainly British) visitors.
  • As a result the International Section was created, with English speaking French instructors.
  • Nowadays the ESF ski school also has many British instructors working within the International Section. All the instructors are fully qualified professionals, many having been teaching here for many years. You can now receive first class instruction in English, plus expert guiding, so discovering the many wonderful hidden secrets of the 3-valley ski area.
  • The ESF ski school has experienced instructors for all snow sports from absolute beginner through to off piste heli skiing/boarding.
  • The ESF have also created a wide range of facilities for children, starting with nursery school right through to slalom training on olympic standard courses. Date of birth required for all children's classes.
  • Please feel most welcome to come join us and make the most of your visit to Méribel.
